Illuminating the Journey ✨
Welcome to the Meditation Cottage. If you’re looking for a deeper sense of aliveness and well being, you’re in the right place!

Meditation comes to us naturally. If you can dream and imagine, you can meditate.
Meditation is letting go of distractions, slowing down the stream of thought to allow in higher knowing and wisdom from within. It also allows in higher wisdom from spirit, soul and the Divine.
I like to demystify it because of the confusion that surrounds it as something hard or only for guru’s or masters.
Meditation is a resource, modern medicine is a resource. There are many modalities to support us. Integrate any of the tools that support and help you live a life that’s healthy, full and rich with aliveness.

Meditation tips; This is what I do.
Finding a comfortable place, sitting up or lying down, begin to relax your body. Imagine from your toes to the top of your head filling with gentle relaxation. You may visualize colors, you may imagine a soothing white light. Let it unfold naturally. Things will shift and change to your unique resonance.
Once relaxed, create a beautiful safe place in your mind. Make it real using your imagination. Hear the sounds of the ocean waves coming ashore, or visualize sitting under the moon and stars. Bring in all your senses. Taste, touch, hear, see and smell. The more details you use, the more powerful your meditation will be.
Open your heart and mind to Spirit. Whatever Divine is to you. God, Jesus, Nature, or all the above. Whatever your source is, be open to a partnership, an alliance of care, trust and love.
More meditation tips below…

- During meditation you should feel comfortable and safe. A comfy chair or lying down is all you need to do.
Once fully relaxed, you can commune and work on all aspects of your life; Relationships, success, health & healing, spiritual expansion, and letting more love into your life.
Process what’s not working. Releasing doubts, stress, anxiety and fears. Getting honest and changing what stands between you and living a life you love.
*** A few things to note; Keep your meditations private and give them time to steep. More information will come to light through signs, dreams, or sudden insights.
I’ve learned not to share the content of my meditations unless it’s with a trusted friend. Judgments or unwelcome comments can disrupt what was meant to be sacred moments.
